Today's Word Is....

Lenticular. Actually, it's yesterday's word. I was at work, and a lady went to buy a puzzle. On the box, it was described as being a "lenticular puzzle". After a while, we figured out that it just had a hologram on it, but I wanted to look it up anyways.
len·tic·u·lar (ln-tky-lr)
adj.
  1. Shaped like a biconvex lens.
  2. Of or relating to a lens.
So that's out of the way.
In other news.
I am a stupid, stupid ass.
No, really.
So, I had my hair clipped back with one of those hairsticks and a claw clip thinger. Because it's hot out, and I've got a lot of hair. I had it up for a while, and I guess I'd forgetten it. Before I know it, my sister's doing rolls and headstands on the floor. "C'mon Tor, you can do a headstand, right?" "Yeah, I can do a headstand." So, she asks to see how I do mine.
So I get all laid out on the floor, I get my knees on my elbows, and push myself up. I stand there for a while, before deciding to roll out of it.
Long story short, by the end of the roll, I had a hairstick and a hairclip sticking out of the back of my neck.
Not a pointy hairstick either. The end was quite blunt and square.
So, I cried. And cried. And cried some more. Took them out (I know, you should never take an impaled object out, but I got scared and just grabbed it) got it all gauze-packed, took some extra coagulants (my blood doesn't clot easily) and watched some T.V.
Today, I can't really move my head from a neutral position. There's this huge kind of wrap around bruise going around it, and this giant scab. It is, as one of the ladies I work with would say, exquistely painful.
So, probably no knitting for a little while.
Poo.
