My first pair of socks!!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am right now.
I finished the socks.
The wonderful, wonderful socks.
They look so good.
I have never been prouder.
And now, as I am at a loss for words, here are pictures of the socks.
One sock. The left sock. I love how the yarn did the whole stripey thing. That was completely unintentional, but I like it.

And both socks. I did the whole "slip one knit one" heel flap, which turned out nicely. The striping almost matches, but not quite, which is cool.
And now, the socks are off to their new home. Emma's feet. They're for her upcoming trip to Japan.
And now, I go back to work. :( Poo, no knitting there.
