Yay! Yayayayayayay!
Finally. I'd ordered "Socks, socks, socks" from the library a while ago, and it came today! I love working in a library. So much.
I've now decided that I need to knit every sock in that book. Especially the pair with the clocks. I have a thing for clocks. And the brightly coloured travelling socks. I love those.
Furthermore, I finally get to start a knitting group right here at the library. Granted, it's for kids aged 8-14, but who says that can't be fun? I've asked that they bring their own supplies, but I'll wind up bringing my extra plastic needles and acrylic yarn juuuust in case. I can't wait, we start July 5th at 2:00. I think after teaching them the basics, we'll do squares for Blankets for Canada. Speaking of which, I'm almost done my first blanket for them.
In other knitty news, I'm still trudging along on the backpack. I've decided that I need another pair of size 6 needles, because every project I want to knit requires them. Then again, having only one pair forces me to actually finish what I start.
I've been working lots of overtime at the store too (go me, two part-time jobs!) because we're short staffed, and no one likes my boss. But, don't tell her that. So, I'll have lots of monies to take to Ontarioland with me. Which is good.
Thursday, I'm chaperoning my mom's grade 4/5 class field trip to Calaway Park. That should be fun. I plan to bring my knitting and recruit for the knitting program. And now, I guess I should finish the mail and such.
