Yeah, hi.

So, maybe you were beginning to wonder:
"Does Vik still knit?"
Or, maybe I'm just flattering myself, thinking that you think about me in your spare time.
So, whether or not you were wondering, yes, I do still knit.
I haven't posted about it in a while, but I do.
And, I even have a few finished (or half finished....) things to post about.
Isn't that dandy.

Thing the first.
I finished a blanky!
Correction.
Patrick and I finished a blanky.
It is, without a doubt, the greatest thing ever.
My DIY webcam pics (yep, built it myself!) dont' really do it much justice. In real life, it's big, it's beautiful, and it's very warm.
And, it's about to be shipped off to someone who really needs it, which makes it even better.
Thing the second!
I have been working dillegently on the socks for my sister.
And by that, I mean I've been sitting in the back of all of my classes, knitting my cute little butt off. (And paying attention to my teacher's mouth words....)So now, I have one sock done, about 50% of th entire project. My only concern is how fast her feet grow. I'm not sure how long these will fit her for.
So, a full on front view and a side view. Also done with the crap webcam. And my lighting was bad.
But you get the gist.

Also, I got my International Scarf Exchange secret pal. We seem to have similar tastes in colour, which is good, because I'd hate to make a scarf that looks like vomit.
Haven't heard from my buddy yet, wondering if they're out there.....
