Leaving on a jet plane...

Alright. So, mostly everything is packed, my last load of underwear is in the dryer. Just in case I get hit by a bus, y'know?
I'm pretty excited. But nervous.
Finished the Punk Rock Backpack.

So, here's the back of the...er...backpack, as modelled by my younger sister. In Debbie's book, it's the bunny rabbit backpack that has the diabolical rasied eyebrow. But we decided that it would look really cool on the monkey. And did it that way.
We picked a really interesting fabric for the lining. Originally, I was thinking something orange, but we figured that the bright lime green with the dots looked really cool. Kind of like...clashy coordinates.
Last picture. It's an Uglydoll, another part of the pressie inside of the backpack. She looks pretty darn comfy I would say.
So that's it. It's done. And I'm pretty damn proud of it, if I do say so myself. Many thanks go to the mom, for driving me to Wal-mart many times, the sister, for modelling things and holding them, and the boyfriend for putting up with my going "Will she like it? Does it look okay?"
Now I'm off to finish packing. And start those socks. (Thanks Aija, think I've got the dpns to circs thing figured out.)
