Oh Boy.
I've been a bad, bad little knitter, I have indeed.
Remember the part where I said "That's it! I've got too many projects to do! No more!" Or "I've got so much yarn, I'm not going to buy anymore this summer."
Of course you don't. Because, while I thought those words, I never actually uttered them. Because, by speaking them, I'd have to stick to them.
Thank god I didn't.
I may or may not have hit a yarn sale today. And I may or may not have bought more yarn for projects. Projects which I really need. *eyeroll*.
It wasn't so bad really.
There was some Bernat Handicrafter Cotton, 50 cents a ball. So I got two in Off White, because Patrick has absolutely NO dishcloths, and a big 'ol pile of dishes to do.
Second, there was some Bernat Softee Chunky, in Dark Blue. I found a pattern for a vest made from Bernat Solo, but I despise the way it feels when its all knit up. So I figured I'll do all the math to substitute this stuff instead.
Lastly, there was a ball of Red Heart Super Saver in Plum Pudding. I had no pattern in mind for it at all, but there was only one ball, and I liked the colour and...er....
So, I'm thinking of making it into the Cabled Newsboy Cap from Stitch 'N Bitch Nation. I saw Lolly's version of it, and thought it was cute. Generally, I don't wear hats, but if it turns out well....
I know that it isn't the best quality yarn, but it's all I can afford. And I need to feed my yarn appetite somehow. Besides, I don't want to spend a bundle on yarn for a project that's going to be worn all the time.
So there you have it folks. In the span of less than an hour, my project list has grown by about half. I think I'm going to spend the next two weeks before school knitting my butt off, because once school starts, I won't have much time.
I know I promised pictures, but I want to go knit now.

I loved Lolly's version too! I dug that hat when I saw it in snb nation, but kinda forgot about it til she posted hers :)
I heart Debbie Stoller, she taught me how to knit.
