Alive!

Mmmkay, so the big freakout was totally unnecessary. Getting my teeth out was fine.
But don't spread it around.
The weirdest part by far was going to sleep.
I had this nurse, terrible bedside manner. She had that skunky type hair, you know, where it's part bleach blond, part black. And bright pink eyeshadow. Really, more of a hooker than a nurse. Anyways, she took me into this room that looked more like a science lab than an operating room. And I laid down, and this guy put a mask over my face. The gas really made me cough, and he kept saying "I know, tastes bad, but it'll make you feel good." Then there was this loud buzzing, and I fell asleep.
I was (apparently) quite the character in recovery though. I asked if this stuff (ahem) would last all day. I told the recovery nurse that she was pretty, and that I was going to be a doctor. When the guy in the next bed didn't wake up, I said that he probably worked hard, and needed a little nap.
And the ride home, well, that was just the highlight of my parents week!
Dad said that he has never laughed so hard as he did while watching me drool all over myself.
I think he's a bit twisted...
So, I'm back to school tomorrow. I really haven't done any homework, because I've been drugged, and haven't felt like tackling the potential voltage of electrolytic cells, or Max Plancks theory of black body radiation. Not that I really ever feel like it, but you know.
All in all, it was good. I'd totally reccomend my doctor, and my mandible has yet to rot and fall off. Which is a step in the right direction.
For now, I'm going to go finish one of my many books (A fine balance, The old man and Mr. Smith...) and dream ibuprofen induced dreams.
