Alas, I have no amusing title for this one.
Hello! I'm back! I'll bet my loyal legions of readers sure have missed me, huh?
Yeah, that's it. By looking at my last post, it might seem as though I didn't survive graduation. I did. The speech in the last post didn't wind up getting used, rather, the two of us combined our speeches into one fantasmagorical speech. It was great, there were tears. I won a few awards, which is quite happyful, as I'm having to make many a sacrifice to the tuition gods as of late. And I actually went to our aftergrad. Which was fun while it was happening, but my stomach felt like it was going to fall out of my butt the next day. Read into that as you will. And a picture of me and my friend Emma at grad. She's the one in the pretty kimono.

I spent all of July working hard at the pharmacy. Which really made me miss school. Not that it was a hard or crappy job by any means, it was just the dragging myself out of bed early each day to do the same thing. My brainy bits weren't really being challenged at all.
And now, I'm here. Where is "here" exactly? Patrick's parents. Which is roughly 3000 km away from my home in Alberta. Yesh, I have moved. It was very difficult, especially saying goodbye to my family. But, the University of Guelph (which is 2 hours from here) is one of a handful of schools offering the course I want to take (Biomedical Science Honours). I'll go back for Christmas to see my family, and again for May and June. But for now, I'm really excited about school starting, living in res (I've met my roommate, she's pretty awesome), and being out on my own.
Oh yeah, and knitting!
I've got all of August off, so I've been putting in some quality time with the sticks and string. I'm almost done my tank top, working on dishcloths (always) and hoping to make a crochet bag similar to trek's.
And I'm revamping the blog too. I'll clean up all the old crap in my sidebars, and I've got a new picture for the header. Hopefully, I won't let this get too dusty again.
